The place to be on WEDNESDAY eves!

Our famous/infamous Wednesday night Slocan River group paddles/BBQs run yearly from May thru to early September (level depending).

The goods:

Meet in the Endless Adventure parking lot on Hwy 6 by 5pm. Be prepared to volunteer your vehicle for a quick shuttle drop. Gear up, cross the hwy and walk down to the beach eddy. All trips depart at 6:00ish after the Trip Leader's briefing.

NOTE: ALL participants are encouraged to purchase a club membership to take part as this event is club sanctioned. Therefore, participants must be club members in order to meet our insurance requirements.

While on the water, have some fun in the company of several skills of paddlers. Challenge yourself, ask for tips or simply help out a fellow paddler. Perhaps refresh yourself on a river rescue technique or practice your roll.

The Slocan is a great Class II/III+ learning river, so go for the gusto and charge those wave trains and hit those eddies as if they are all a grade higher than your comfort/skill level.

Meanwhile, back at the shop, club volunteers are busy preparing hamburgers and cold bevies for your return in about 2 hours time. To good to be true? Almost. Why not join the club to support our efforts for years to come.
