Favorite Holes

Here is a partial listing of some of our favourite places to go. Wild places are a joy and a blessing. Please treat them with the respect they, and our neighbours, deserve. Play and River classifications are rough guides only and will vary with the season and water levels. Be safe, wear a helmet and kayak with a buddy.

Park and Play

• Brilliant Hole/Wave: Intermediate/Expert. Class 3.
• Trail Hole/Wave: Intermediate/Expert:  Class 2/3.
• Trail -Gyro Park: Beginner, some good squirt eddies depending on water level.
• Rivervale: Intermediate. Class 2.

Rivers and Creeks

• Slocan River: Intermediate.  Class 2+/3 (S-bend).
• Slocan River -Passmore to Crescent Beach: Beginner-Intermediate Class 1+/2 .
• Salmo River: Intermediate/Advanced. May-June Class 3+. July Class 3.
• Wilson Creek: Good intermediate/Advanced. May-mid July Class 4. Mid July-early August Class 3+. One section with three drops that you can walk around if your not in the mood.
